Been listening to a lot of Amel Larrieux and Groove Theory lately and completely forgot about their (Groove Theory’s) rendition of Todd Rundgren‘s hit Hello It’s Me.

This original by Todd Rundgren which was originally released in 1968, was also rendered by many other artists including Mary J. Blige, John Legend and Isley Brothers, just to name a few.

You know you have too many music laying around when you haven’t even heard some of these renditions. I have all of MJB’s albums and didn’t even realize that she’s also made a cover which I’m listening to now and it’s actually quite nice! I personally love it when she does a cover of an oldie and goodie 🙂
